Slowing down can be a revolutionary act in which we attune to our bodies, hearts, the earth, and the more-than-human realm. Join Deborah Eden Tull for this restorative retreat at the cusp of the autumnal equinox to celebrate deep time. By looking past the dominant paradigm’s fixation with speed, busyness, and productivity, we can create a more authentic relationship with time for interconnection, emergence, and wholeness — that recognizes receptivity as the seat of our authentic power as women.

Meditation is, ultimately, a practice of listening to life as it unfolds, moment by moment, in an embodied, tactile way through every cell of our body, far past simple auditory processing. Inspired by the Zen teaching of “being time,” we will engage in practices that teach slowness so that we may return to our earthly bodies. Together, we’ll release the collective conditioning that convinces us there’s “not enough time,” which constantly prizes productivity over restoration. We will remember our choice to reside in the spaciousness of shared presence.

In this age of accelerated change and global uncertainty, let us consider the steady and unhurried wisdom that helps us savor this precious world and strengthen our resolve to save it. Let us embrace a more organic dynamic with our seasons and relationships, including the ancestral realm and with our future selves. We can balance stillness and action, attunement and productivity, and yin and yang for a more significant and powerful impact on our planet, one another, and ourselves.

This workshop is for women of all ages, colors, backgrounds, and disciplines at all phases and seasons of their life’s journey. This includes anyone who identifies as female or non-binary in the wider realm of gender expression.
