Program Registration

Thank you for your interest in Esalen Institute, a leading non-profit center exploring and realizing human potential through experience, education, and research. We work toward the realization of a more just, creative, and sustainable world, seeking answers to questions unlikely to be explored by traditional universities and religions.

All program participants and visitors must be 18 years or older. The Esalen Institute will continue to maintain an adult-only space for our regularly scheduled programming.

Locals Rate Information

A locals rate option is available to those who reside in Big Sur or the Monterey Peninsula (a valid ID with a Big Sur or Monterey Peninsula address must be shown upon arrival). Please note the locals rate does not include overnight accommodations. To book, please call Reservations at (831) 667-3000. 7 Cancellation and Other Policy Information

Cancellation Policy *	I accept the cancellation policyIf you cancel, change, or reschedule your reservation, you will be charged. If you cancel or reschedule your reservation: ● 90 or more days prior to your arrival date, you will be charged a $75.00 fee. For cancellations, any remaining amount paid will be refunded. ● 30 to 89 days prior to your arrival date, you will be charged a fee of 15% of the reservation total. For cancellations, any remaining amount paid will be refunded. ● 15 to 29 days prior to your arrival date, you will be charged a fee of 30% of the reservation total. For cancellations, any remaining amount paid will be refunded. ● Less than 15 days prior to your arrival date, you will forfeit the entire reservation total and no refund will be provided. Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to your arrival date are ineligible for reschedule.
Esalen Waiver Required *	I understand I will be required to sign Esalen's general waiver upon arrival.A copy of the waiver may be viewed here. Upon registration, you will receive a copy of the waiver to review prior to arrival. A digital copy will be available to sign upon arrival at Esalen; you will not need to print and sign a copy to bring with you or to send to us prior to your arrival.
