Burning to Tell: Grief, the Akashic Records, and the Healing Power of Story
With Roksana Badruddoja
March 15 - 19, 2027
How might we understand grief not simply as something to overcome, but as a source of knowledge about ourselves, our ancestors, and the lives we inherit?
Led by cultural sociologist and Gomti River ceremonialist Roksana Badruddoja, this experiential workshop explores grief through the sacred wisdom of the Akashic Records — a living and evolving field of information, memory, relationship, and spiritual intelligence — as well as embodied inquiry, ancestral memory, and reflective storytelling.
Over five days, participants will learn to access their own Akashic Records and explore the relationships among personal grief, inherited patterns, spiritual discernment, and the recovery of parts of ourselves that may have become obscured through loss, adaptation, and ancestral experience. Through guided journeys, contemplative practices, and reflective writing, we will examine what belongs to us, what we have inherited, and what we are responsible for carrying forward.
In this workshop, you will:
- Practice opening, receiving guidance within, and closing your own Akashic Records through the Gomti River lineage.
- Explore grief, ancestral inheritance, and embodied knowing through guided experiential journeys, including Cellular Regeneration and the Temple of the Soul.
- Practice discerning spiritual guidance from fear, desire, projection, and inherited patterns.
- Engage in reflective writing and storytelling to explore what grief reveals about identity, belonging, memory, and responsibility.
- Examine what it means to carry ancestral wisdom without remaining bound to inherited suffering.
Rather than seeking to eliminate grief or manufacture certainty, this workshop invites participants to develop a more conscious relationship with what they carry, what they know, and what remains possible.
Please bring a journal. Full attendance is strongly encouraged because each session builds upon the previous teachings. No prior experience with the Akashic Records is necessary. Participants are invited to approach the spiritual practices with openness, reverence, and discernment. Required readings will be provided before the workshop.
