Exploring Plant-Based Eating

Join Living Light Culinary Institute’s talented chef instructors, who will lead you on a journey into the wonderful world of plant-based cuisine. In this hands-on, two-day workshop, you will explore various preparations and techniques that focus on creating delicious and rejuvenating foods. The weekend will provide an overview of garden-to-table concepts, kitchen sprouting, making fermented foods and beverages, knife skills, recipe conversions and plating/table presentation. You will have the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions at the Esalen Farm & Garden to learn how to harvest the fresh bounty. You’ll also sample cleansing juices and tonics in partnership with Esalen Kitchen team members.
This workshop is suitable for plant-eating enthusiasts as well as those simply curious about increasing their intake of plant foods.
