In the midst of our busy lives, we need opportunities for open-hearted joy and connection. From breath to voice to chant, there is an undeniably restorative power in lifting our voices together. During this celebratory weekend of kirtan — India’s ancient call-and-response form of devotional music — we invite you to deeply unwind and let your voice, heart and spirit soar.

Bhakti yoga, known as the yoga of devotion, expresses divine love, self-realization and joy through an experience of oneness with all things. Through kirtan, yoga asana and meditation sessions each day, we’ll tap into three dimensions of bhakti yoga, align our inner and outer selves, and connect with one another with mindfulness, laughter and gratitude.

Gopi will be joined by an ensemble of kirtan musicians, including the Kirtaniyas, who push the boundaries of genre by combining the traditional call-and-response singing of ancient Sanskrit mantras with melodious electronic dance music, subsonic bass and live acoustic instruments. Prajna Vieira (of Mukti Kirtan) and David Estes (of Ananda Rasa Kirtan) are a dynamic duo who share a traditional and ecstatic Bhakti kirtan experience.

Join us for three days of live music and connection. Sing, stretch, connect with others and bring home new practices to enhance your daily life.

($50 additional tuition will be added to the workshop cost)
