How to Book Two Guests Click the desired accommodation. Select "2" in the Guests in Room drop-down menu. If there is a fee for the second guest, the price will update.
About Esalen Accommodations Esalen accommodations do not include televisions, alarm clocks, phones, cell phone reception, or internet access. Premium WiFi is available only in our Point Houses, Premium Plus King Rooms, and Premium Wooden Yurts.
All private accommodations provide towels, bath products, and bed linens. Sleeping Bag Spaces provide towels and bath products, however, guests will need to bring their own sleeping bag/linens, and pillows.
Esalen does not provide hairdryers or other toiletries in the rooms. Many necessities and accouterments can be purchased in the Conley Bookstore.

Personal Guest Campus Day Pass
For any Esalen Staff, residential or working remotely, Esalen offers the opportunity for a Campus Day Pass to provide guests. Staff guests may have the full use of Esalen facilities on the main campus with the exception of participating in a paid workshop. Staff guests may be on property from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. An exception to this time period is provided only for staff with guests staying with them in their staff residence overnight and not using Esalen facilities. Campus Day Passes become available four weeks prior to the arrival date, and are provided on a first come, first serve basis. Staff may host up to 3 people per day. Full time staff receive 10 days per month and part time staff receive 3 days per month. There is no same-day guesting permitted. Payment must be paid at the Gate upon arrival. Campus Day Passes are available to distribute only by staff and by the leadership team for use with community advancement, donors, new recruits, and vendors.

All-inclusive for one person in a shared lodging space which includes all classes, meals, tuition and access to the oceanside hot spring baths.
Surrender yourself to the natural and restorative beauty of Big Sur. Sleeping Bag Spaces house up to 6 people and are gender-inclusive with a maximum stay of 7 consecutive days. We cannot guarantee you will be located in the building of your choice as space is limited. Guests are responsible for bringing their own sleeping bag, blanket, pads, pillows, etc. Esalen will provide towels and face cloths. Some Sleeping Bag Spaces do not include a shower, though communal shower facilities are available at the Esalen Hot Springs and private shower facilities are available near the Art Barn. Sleeping Bag Spaces are inaccessible between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as they are located in meeting room spaces where Esalen activities—scheduled and unscheduled—take place; access to the room is not permitted while these activities are in process.
Note: Due to the shared nature of Sleeping Bag Spaces, service animals cannot be accommodated in Sleeping Bag Spaces. If you require ADA accommodations, please contact us at (831) 667-3000 or info@esalen.org to discuss how we may best support your needs.
