The Path to Love with Yoga and Meditation
With Charu Rachlis
March 24 - 29, 2019
Love is the most powerful force in the universe. In today’s world, we are facing so much chaos and challenge, and we are being called to step forward with the heart as our guide. How can we make this leap from fear to love?
We begin with the breath, and we begin by looking inward through meditation. In this workshop, we will be practicing yoga asana (physical postures), which deeply calm the nervous system and help release emotional, physical, and mental tensions. We will be doing pranayama (breath awareness), which opens us up to deeper states of relaxation. These will be our tools as we find the path of love: loving our own selves, being gentle with ourselves, and having patience. Yoga and meditation will firm the ground — inner and outer — to embody the path to love. Please bring a yoga mat.
