Through Our Own Eyes: A Retreat for and by Women Physicians
With Ligia Giese and Anjali Gupta
September 22 - 27, 2019
We will be guided through this weeklong journey using movement, sound, and narrative as a medium through which to explore our work, relationships, and personal stories. The program includes space for self-reflection, connection with others, and enjoying the magic of Esalen. Our work will be co-facilitated by theatre artist Nina Wise and hospitalist and host of ‘The Nocturnists’ Emily Silverman, MD.
Bring your journal, your watercolors, sunglasses and a great book! We encourage you to attend with a colleague or friend from medical school, residency or your community.
Note: This workshop will offer Category I Continuing Medical Education credit. All participants must be physicians (MDs or DOs). Initial registration for this program is through the Hektoen Institute of Medicine. To begin the registration process, visit www.tooer.org for more information. Only after you have been accepted by the Hektoen Institute will you be able to register with Esalen. A portion of tuition for CME credits is non-refundable.
(Additional tuition of $575 will be added to the workshop cost).
