Erin Gafill is an award-winning painter, writer, and teacher with deep roots in California’s art history. She is cofounder of the nonprofit Big Sur Arts Initiative, founding member of the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association, and author of Drinking from a Cold Spring, A Little Book of Hope.
