Gary Marcoccia is tenured professor of Natural & Applied Sciences from Santa Cruz, California. He leads semester-long courses in hiking, wilderness first-aid and wilderness survival. His work focuses on teaching people how they can nourish their mind, body and spirit through time spent in the wilds.
