Join the Baraz family in exploring the bond between parent and child, which is perhaps the most influential relationship in shaping who we are. When it is healthy, conscious, and has spiritual depth, it leads to a supportive attachment that affects all our other relationships. In this workshop on Father’s Day weekend, we invite families and anyone who has had a parent, been a parent, had a child or been a child to Esalen for an opportunity to explore the optimal vision for their relationship and a chance to heal their past parent-child relationship. Through experiential exercises, meditation, council (mindful sharing and listening), and deep dialogue, each parent and grown child will look at any obstacles to that connection as well as practices that will support deepening that bond.

Parents can come without their child present and grown children can come without their parent if they would like to explore deepening or healing that bond on their own.

Note: the content of this workshop is appropriate for participants aged 18 and older.
