This dynamic and interactive workshop integrates the latest research on stress resilience, meditation and heart-centered practices to help participants commit to their own lasting well-being. Developing stronger skills for stress resilience can enhance emotional and physical health, and slow biological aging.  Bolstering stress resilience is especially critical to those in demanding professions, such as health care providers, or those caregiving and parenting. Caring for self, others and those in our communities takes a toll on our personal resources and can lead to psychological burnout and physical fatigue.

During this workshop, we’ll immerse ourselves in meditation, self-reflection activities, didactic discussions on stress resilience and burnout, and experiential activities to better understand how we can unlock our enormous potential for more joy, vitality and vibrant health. We will explore a set of self-care tools that keep us grounded, balanced, connected and engaged in meaningful work and living our lives fully. Committing to and embodying daily practices that enhance stress resilience and spiritual and physiological renewal are essential for living a life of joy and purpose now and throughout the new year.

There will be a celebratory Christmas Eve dinner in the Esalen Lodge.
